Head Coach John Harbaugh
On the significance on having a chance to win the AFC North:
"It's definitely a goal. It's one of our five main goals – to win the division. From a team perspective, it's a big deal. It's a tough division; we respect these teams tremendously."
On if Lamar Jackson is his MVP choice:
"He is my MVP. He'll always be my MVP – I promise you that. Yes, as far as I'm concerned, he's our MVP, [and] he's our guy. But you know what? That's really not what we're thinking about. I haven't heard anybody talk about that. I haven't heard Lamar talk about it. We're just trying to win the next game."
On the Ravens having nine Pro Bowlers:
"The individual awards are team awards. That's kind of how we look at it. Football is the ultimate team sport, so the awards are the ultimate team awards. To see guys accomplish that, as a coach – to fulfill dreams and those kinds of things and be a part of that – we all take great pride in that. [We had] so many guys. We had nine guys [and] also a number of alternates. It's a great thing, and it means a lot."
QB Lamar Jackson
On if it would be meaningful to break the single-season passer rating record:
"If I'm in my childhood mindset [with] breaking a record, yes. But I'm trying to win games, so it really [doesn't] matter. If it happens, it happens. If it [doesn't, it] probably will happen sometime down the line."
On Zay Flowers building off an impressive rookie season:
"He just got that 'dog' in him. He just wants to be the best he can be. [He wants to] be the best receiver he can be in the league – the National Football League and just try to help his team win. Him being a young player, and what he brings to the table, that's what you need out of young guys. You need a lot of young guys to be the same way and have that same mindset that's they just want to win."
On if he thinks his QB rushing record could be broken eventually:
"Yes, I believe so. If it [does get broken], hats off to whoever does it, because records are meant to be broken. It's nothing to be mad about. It's just another guy, another one-of-one type of generational talented guy, I believe, if it happens."
Jackson, Linderbaum & Washington: Ravens Press Conference 12/31/24
QB Lamar Jackson, C Tyler Linderbaum, and S Ar'Darius Washington speak with the media.
S Kyle Hamilton
On the Ravens having so many Pro Bowlers:
"I think it's just, top-to-bottom, one of, if not, the strongest roster in the league, and we have a bunch of talent and a bunch of guys around here making each other better. We're all focused on one goal, and when you have a lot of people who are like-minded and work hard."
On if there is revenge on the mind from Baltimore's 29-24 Week 8 loss to the Browns:
"We still have a sour taste in our mouth from that game, and [we] had a lot of opportunities to win that one and obviously didn't come out with a win. So, I think we're going to play with a little bit of a chip on our shoulder and really prove ourselves right – more than anything – that we're going to go out and ... It doesn't matter the implications [or] whatever; we need to go out and play a good football game, and if we do, then we'll be AFC [North] champs."
On if he dreamed of playing in the Pro Bowl as a kid:
"I've always wanted to be in the NFL, one. [The] Pro Bowl would've been a plus, for sure, but growing up [and] just seeing Sean Taylor hit that punter [Brian Moorman] in the Pro Bowl, that was pretty cool, and I was like, 'Yes, I want to do that someday.' Obviously, you can't do that now, but yes, it's always been a dream of mine. That's why I'm kind of saying [that] you have to take a step back and just see where you're at and just be thankful for everything that's come to fruition."
ILB Roquan Smith
On if there is a different feel when you're heavily favored:
"Honestly, man, personally, I don't really look into what people say as far as, 'Oh, we should win this,' or 'We should win that.' If it was based on that, the game wouldn't be played. The game is played for a reason. Those guys are in the NFL. Those guys have a family to feed, kids at home [and] wives at home, so they're going to put it all on the line and play for an opportunity for them to have a job next season."
Smith & Coordinators: Ravens Press Conferences 1/1/25
Special Teams Coordinator Chris Horton, Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken, Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr, and ILB Roquan Smith speak with the media.
C Tyler Linderbaum
On how proud he is of the offensive line this season:
"I'm very proud. It's a good group, a fun group, and then just all of the things that we went through in the preseason. Losing Joe D. [D'Alessandris] certainly hasn't been easy, but I think he'd be very proud of us. The way we play, the way we play the game [and] the way we approach the game, I think, is something he'd be proud of."
On having a chance to win the AFC North for back-to-back seasons:
"It's a great opportunity; it's hard to come by. We get an opportunity to put our names up in these banners, so we just have to take advantage of every opportunity we're given, and we're positioned to make something special happen."
S Ar'Darius Washington
On if he is surprised by the connection with himself and Hamilton:
"I kind of always knew it was going to be there. Kyle [Hamilton] wants to win. We want to go out there and compete and make plays and everything like that, and get guys lined up and help those guys out around us, and [help] each other. So, it wasn't a surprise at all."
On if he noticed Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr jump on him after his fourth down stop against the Texans:
"I didn't even know [defensive coordinator Zach Orr] did that. We both kind of blacked out. When I talked to him about it, he blacked out, [and] I blacked out."
Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr
On what he was trying to do when he jumped on Washington on the Texans game:
"Honestly, I don't even know. I was just so amped up. That was like one of the best plays I've seen in recent memory, and I was just so excited just trying to celebrate and support – support my guys – and then that ended up happening. That was just a lot of emotion just being expressed right there."
G Daniel Faalele
On being a Pro Bowl alternate:
"It means a lot. It just gives me more confidence in myself, just knowing that I belong. It's a good achievement. Next year, I want to be in the Pro Bowl, though."
Hamilton, Harbaugh & Faalele: Ravens Press Conference 1/2/25
S Kyle Hamilton, Head Coach John Harbaugh, and G Daniel Faalele speak with the media.
Browns DE Myles Garrett
On if it's possible to take Jackson completely out of the game:
"Completely? Hell, no. The man's amazing. A couple years back, you would say, 'Try to keep him in the pocket.' I think even beginning of the season we were like, 'Try to keep him in pocket, make him throw as much as possible,' and now you're like, '[crap], we don't know what to do.' He's been steadily growing year after year. He lost that baby weight. Now he's back to being lean and fast as hell. So now, whether he breaks the pocket or he stays in the pocket, you're going to have a rough day because he can do everything."
On if Jackson is the hardest player he has ever had to sack:
"Absolutely. It's not even close. There are definitely some other special cats at the quarterback position who are shifty. I mean, Pat (Patrick Mahomes) himself, he has great contact balance, but, I mean, Lamar has that. But he also has speed, he has quickness, is shifty, so he has that tremendous running ability, and he can also throw the ball pretty much anyone on the field right now."
