BALTIMORE RAVENS
K Justin Tucker
(on the kicking unit) "I think our operation is as solid as it has ever been. We are all confident and ready to go. Morgan [Cox] is doing an excellent job of throwing the ball back there with 12 o'clock laces, and Sam [Koch] is doing an excellent job of getting the ball down fast. It's good to be in a rhythm as we approach Week 1."
(on the kickoff tackle he attempted to make) "What I was thinking was that I needed to put my head across, go low and get him down on the ground. I think he just caught me with a knee pad or a thigh pad right in the neck. It was about trying to make a play."
DE Brent Urban
(on the first-team defense allowing zero points so far in preseason) "This has been a great start for us, but obviously, we have a lot of things to work on. I think it was a great showing tonight, and the guys were really revved up to go. We played physically up front and locked them down on the back end. It has been a great start, but we still have a long way to go, and there is work to be done. I like our promising start."
(on the defensive line batting balls down) "We have a lot of long-armed defensive players up front, so when you can't get to the quarterback, you try to get your hands up to alter the throw any way you can. We're taught to follow where the ball goes and get our hand up if we can't make it there on the rush."
G Marshal Yanda
(general) "It felt good to get back out there tonight and knock the rust off. I felt good and strong. My shoulder felt great, and I couldn't be happier. I'll be ready to roll going into Week 1."
