It has only been a few days, and you told us not to read too much into it, but how has TE Dennis Pitta looked in two days of practice? (Luke Jones)"He has looked good. He's out there. He has been with the 'look' team, and he's doing a great job with that. [If you] probably need further detail, you could ask him how he feels. I don't really know how he feels, but he looks good to my eye."
John, there has been talk about WR Steve Smith Sr. Some people have speculated that if this is going to be his final year, is there any possibility of the Ravens trading him. Is there any thought about trading Steve Smith? (Jamison Hensley) "No. That's the first I've heard that one. No, there's no chance of that. I wouldn't part with him." (laughter)

Would you try to sway WR Steve Smith Sr. to stick around? (Garrett Downing) "We have a game Monday night. He's going to be here Monday night – I promise you that – and for every game after that."
John, defensive coordinator Dean Pees was pretty complimentary of how CB Shareece Wright had responded after the difficulty he had on a couple plays last week. Have you seen similar … I know you're still getting to know him as a player, but are you pleased with how he has put that behind him and moved on to the next challenge? (Jeff Zrebiec) "Absolutely, he has. He has that corner mentality. He can move on to the next play, and you have to out there. That's probably the toughest position to play, as far as your psyche goes, your confidence. Those guys are at a disadvantage, probably, the way the rules are written in our league. They have to be special, as far as having that character, mental toughness, the ability to overcome and move on to the next play. He has done a good job with that."
John, I know the injury report comes out tomorrow, but are you comfortable … Do you have enough safety depth where you won't have to make a roster move for Sunday or for Monday in case S Kendrick Lewis and S Terrence Brooks don't play? (Jeff Zrebiec) "We'll just leave all that up to speculation. We have our plans, and we'll follow through on those plans."
