The Ravens' path to the playoffs is clear. Win and get in – no help needed.
But Baltimore could also still get in, even with a loss, and could even get a first-round bye.
Here's who Ravens fans should be rooting for in Week 17:
Jacksonville Jaguars (5-10) at Houston Texans (10-5)
Sunday, 1 p.m.
The Ravens' path to a first-round bye is to beat the Browns, then have the Patriots and Texans both lose and Colts-Titans not end in a tie. Thus, Baltimore should root for the Jaguars to pull off an upset. It's not out of the question. The Texans have lost two of their last three games. The Jags are coming off an impressive 17-7 win over the Dolphins and are turning back to Blake Bortles under center. You never know what will happen when division rivals meet.
Root for: Jaguars
New York Jets (4-11) at New England Patriots (10-5)
Sunday, 1 p.m.
This is a similar situation to the Texans-Jags game. It would be a shocker if the Patriots lost – at home – to the struggling Jets. But New England has stumbled a bit down the stretch and the Jets, behind rookie quarterback Sam Darnold, just put up 38 points in an overtime loss. Once again, you never know.
Root for: Jets
Cincinnati Bengals (6-9) at Pittsburgh Steelers (8-6-1)
Sunday, 4:25 p.m.
The Steelers are reeling from their loss in New Orleans, and now need help to get into the postseason. They'll keep one eye on the Ravens' score in the AFC North title race. If the Bengals pull off an upset and knock off Pittsburgh, however, it won't matter what Baltimore does. A Bengals wins means the Ravens are AFC North champs. The Bengals played spoiler to the Ravens last year. This year, Cincinnati can ensure that Pittsburgh doesn't make the postseason.
Root for: Bengals
Oakland Raiders (4-11) at Kansas City Chiefs (11-4)
Sunday, 4:25 p.m.
The Chiefs can lock up the No. 1 seed with a win at home against the AFC West's last place team. Should they lose and the Chargers win, however, they would fall all the way into a wild-card game on the road as the No. 5 seed. That could mean a trip to Baltimore. The Chiefs topped Baltimore, 27-24, in Week 14. They're the only team to beat the Ravens since Lamar Jackson took over under center.
Root for: Chiefs
Los Angeles Chargers (11-4) at Denver Broncos (6-9)
Sunday, 4:25 p.m.
A Chargers loss or Chiefs win means Los Angeles would be locked into the No. 5 wild-card spot. The Ravens' most likely finish, with a win over Cleveland, is the No. 4 seed. The Ravens just beat the Chargers, 22-10, in L.A. and may match up better against them than the Chiefs. But this is really a matter of preference on who fans would rather face. Since the Ravens lost to the Chiefs and beat the Chargers, that's the logical way to root.
Root for: Broncos
Indianapolis Colts (9-6) at Tennessee Titans (9-6)
_Sunday, 8:20 p.m.
_This is a matter of preference in terms of who fans would rather face in the playoffs. If the Ravens win and the Patriots lose, Baltimore would get the No. 3 seed and face the No. 6 seed, which would be the winner of the Colts-Titans game. Baltimore dominated the Titans in Week 6 with a 21-0 victory in Nashville.
