Dumveril Questionable After Returning To Practice
Outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil looks like he could return to the field Monday night against the Lions after missing last week's game against the Vikings.
Dumervil was a limited participant in practice Friday and Saturday, and he is officially listed as questionable on the injury report.
"It's definitely gotten better," he said Thursday. "The strength is getting there. We're just working, man. We're just continuing to work on my conditioning and really strengthen that ankle to get me to a point where I can tolerate it."
After sitting out practice all of last week and the start of this week, Dumervil returned to action on Friday and his ankle responded well enough to practice again Saturday. Dumervil leads the team with 9.5 sacks, and getting him back is important against the NFL's second-ranked offense.
The only other injury concerns for the Ravens are cornerback Lardarius Webb (abs), who is probable and safety Bryden Trawick (ankle), who is questionable. Webb and Trawick were both limited in practice all week.
Harbaugh acknowledged that this is the healthiest his team has been all season.
"If you look at the course of the season and even last year, this is probably as healthy as we've been," he said.
Bush Listed as Questionable
The biggest question for the Lions coming into the week was the status of starting running back Reggie Bush, who missed last week's game with a calf injury.
Bush was limited in practice Friday and Saturday, and he is officially listed as questionable. Reports throughout the week have indicated that Bush is likely to play this week.
While Bush appears to be getting healthy, the Lions may be without a pair of key players in their secondary. Starting corner Chris Houston (toe) and reserve corner Darius Slay (knee) both sat out practice throughout the week and are listed as doubtful. If both of them are out Monday, then the Lions will have just four healthy cornerbacks in their secondary.
The other injury question for the Lions is the status of rookie defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder), who is listed as questionable after being limited in practice.
The other players on Detroit's injury report are all listed as probable and are not expected to miss this week's game. That list includes wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee), safeties Louis Delmas (knee) and John Wendling (illness), offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle (elbow) and defensive end Isreal Idonije (knee).
