WR LaQuan Williams Active For First Time

Wide receiver LaQuan Williams will be active Sunday for the first time this season when the Ravens take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Ravens decided to activate Williams and make rookie safety Christian Thompson a healthy scratch. Thompson had been active for the Ravens' first four games, but Williams got the nod on Sunday. Williams' primary role will likely come on special teams, rather than the offense.

The other inactives for the Ravens are outside linebacker Sergio Kindle, offensive lineman Jah Reid, cornerback Asa Jackson, defensive lineman DeAngelo Tyson, defensive tackle Bryan Hall and tight end Billy Bajema.

None of the inactives were a big surprise for the Ravens, as the team is relatively healthy following 10 days of rest after their Week 4 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

For the Chiefs, running back Peyton Hillis (ankle), defensive end Glen Dorsey (calf), wide receiver Devon Wylie (hamstring), safety Kendrick Lewis (shoulder), defensive end Ropati Pitoitua (elbow) and cornerback Jalil Brown (hamstring) are out with injuries. The other inactive for the Chiefs is backup quarterback Ricky Stanzi.

With Dorsey out, Allen Bailey will start in his place and Abe Elam will start in place of Lewis.

Chiefs wide receiver Jon Baldwin (hamstring), cornerback Brandon Flowers (heel) and center Ryan Lilja (back) are all active and expected to start after being listed as probable on the team's final injury report.
