10 Ravens Bubble Players To Watch vs. Rams
This is the last shot for a host of Ravens players to prove they belong on the Ravens' 53-man roster. Here are 10 guys to keep an eye as they play for their NFL careers.

The third-year receiver has struggled to separate himself in the wide receiver competition during training camp, but he will get one more opportunity in the preseason finale to show that he's deserving of a spot on the roster. Unlike previous weeks, Doss won't have the chance to work with quarterback Joe Flacco and the starters, but he could still make an impact with the second-string offense.

The undrafted rookie out of Georgia had his coming out party last week against the Carolina Panthers when he had his first chance to work with the first-team offense for an extended period. What can he do for an encore? Brown is on the roster bubble of a very crowded wide receiver position, and his emergence over the last couple of weeks has created a difficult decision for the coaching staff. A strong performance in the preseason finale could solidify his spot on the roster going into the regular season.

The seventh-round pick out of Elon jumped onto the scene with touchdowns in both of his first two preseason games. He worked with the first-team offense last week, and was limited to one catch on the day. Mellette has shown potential at receiver, but he also has to prove himself on special teams. The Ravens could use this week as an opportunity to assess his performance on special teams to determine what his role would be on the 53-man roster.

Williams has cooled off in the preseason after an impressive opening game in Tampa Bay where he scored two touchdowns and also pounced on a muffed punt for a fumble recovery. Williams has made his mark on special teams the last two seasons, and a he could convince the coaches that he's too valuable in that role to be cut before the regular season.

Last year's seventh-round draft pick is competing for a roster spot on a revamped defensive front. He's been quiet in the preseason during his work with the second string, but he's graded out well. According to the statistical analysis website Pro Football Focus, Tyson had the second-best grade of any defensive player (+3.8) last week against the Panthers. Tyson was a contributor throughout last season, and another good game to finish the preseason could guarantee that he's on the team in 2013.

The second-year safety earned his way onto the team last year after standing out in the preseason and training camp. He hasn't been the turnover machine he was last preseason, but Brown could still end up as the fourth safety behind Michael Huff, James Ihedigbo and Matt Elam. Brown will likely get plenty of reps this game, so he has a chance to show off the ball-hawking ability that has earned him the nickname "Mini Ed Reed."

As an undrafted free agent, Furstenburg came into training camp as a long shot to make the roster. The Maryland product has shown bright spots and displayed the ability to go over the middle as a pass catcher. Furstenburg will get another chance to play his way onto the team against the Rams, and he'll look to outplay veterans Billy Bajema and Alex Silvestro.

What can the recently-acquired running back do in his lone preseason game with the Ravens? Baltimore added the three-year veteran last week by trading wide receiver David Reed to Indianapolis, and Carter had just a week to adjust to his new team. Other than a few practices, Carter will only have Thursday's game to prove he deserves a roster spot.

With Flacco sitting this game out along with most of the starters, and Tyrod Taylor coming back from a blow to the head last game, Hanie may dominate the reps at quarterback. This game will likely be the most reps Hanie has seen all preseason, and it's an audition for him to convince the Ravens to carry a third quarterback behind Flacco and Taylor.
