18 Ravens Who Stood Out Over the Past Week
The Ravens had their first preseason game and four practices, including two joint sessions with the Los Angeles Rams, over the past seven days. Here's who looked especially good.

TE Mark Andrews
The third-round rookie stepped onto the practice field for the first time in two weeks Saturday and immediately shined. Andrews has made several nice long catches down the seam in practice and will play in his first game tomorrow night.

T Orlando Brown Jr.
Brown had a strong debut in the Hall of Fame game and rolled it into practice. He's still going to lose some battles, especially going against the Los Angeles' Rams talented defensive linemen, but overall the rookie is winning a lot more than he drops.

S Chuck Clark
With Tony Jefferson sidelined for the past week, Clark has stepped up to fill the void on the first-team defense. He grabbed an interception in the Hall of Fame game, then got another one in practice two days later when he sniffed out a screen pass.

LB Kamalei Correa
Correa exploded in Canton with three sacks, an interception and forced fumble. He continued to practice well when he got back to Baltimore. Correa is still working to hold the edge better against runs, but he's been superb rushing the passer.

S DeShon Elliott
Elliott is another young safety who is benefitting from extra reps with Jefferson sidelined. The sixth-round pick notched a forced fumble against the Bears. He's been physical in practice too.

QB Robert Griffin III
In his first game in 19 months, Griffin looked good in Canton. He's moving and throwing the ball well and led the Ravens' most impressive touchdown drive of the night. With the way Griffin is playing, he may force Baltimore to keep three quarterbacks.

CB Marlon Humphrey
Humphrey had a tough second week of training camp when Brown was getting the best of him on deep balls. He's rebounded with a few straight great days, including a deep breakup at the end of Sunday's session.

TE Hayden Hurst
After catching a touchdown pass in his debut game, the first-round tight end was the star of Tuesday's Ravens-Rams joint practice, as he made several long, tough catches. As Hurst has become more comfortable in the playbook, he has played faster.

G/T James Hurst
Hurst had an excellent practice against the Rams Tuesday, stonewalling talented interior linemen on multiple one-on-one drills. It will be interesting to see where Hurst moves to – right tackle or left guard – once Marshal Yanda returns to full practice.

QB Lamar Jackson
There was good and bad in Jackson's preseason debut, but he's continued to grow from it. Most notably, Jackson is making progress as a thrower. He had a handful of pretty passes during Tuesday's practice, including a 50-yard touchdown to Mark Andrews

WR Jordan Lasley
Lasley plays with an edge that stands out on the practice field. He seems to make a big catch every day. Also notable was how he played on special teams during the Ravens' preseason opener. He came flying down the field to make a tackle on punt coverage.

G/T Alex Lewis
Lewis seems to be settling in at left guard, but could be in play for the starting center job. He held his own versus the Rams on both days of joint practice.

FB/DL Patrick Ricard
The burly Ricard is starting to emerge on offense after starting training camp taking the vast majority of his reps on defense. Ricard is a nightmare to tackle, as some Rams defenders found out when he caught passes in the flats.

OLB Terrell Suggs
Even at age 35, Suggs continues to practice at a very high level. One move he put on left tackle Ronnie Stanley was particularly impressive, baiting him outside with a quick first step, then knifing inside to "sack" Joe Flacco.

OLB Tim Williams
Williams drew high praise from Defensive Coordinator Wink Martindale, who said the 2017 third-round pick is rushing the passer better than he ever has. Williams had six hurries in the preseason opener but no sacks. He'll look to change that versus the Rams.

G/T Marshal Yanda
A return to the practice field, even if it's only for individual drills, lands Yanda on this list. It's a huge boost for an offensive line looking to find its best starting combination.

CB Tavon Young
Young had a stretch of three straight practices with an interception. He continues to be around the ball and pester whoever lines up in the slot.
