All the Quarterbacks Ravens Will Face in 2023
Here's a look at the quarterbacks the Ravens will face in 2023, and how Baltimore has fared against them.

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Burrow has led the Bengals to back-to-back AFC North championships, establishing himself as one of the NFL's top quarterbacks entering his fourth season. He has a 4-2 career record against the Ravens, including a playoff victory last season in Cincinnati. Burrow put up huge numbers against the Ravens in 2021, but they held him to 217, 215, and 209 passing yards, and just three touchdowns, in three meetings last season.

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
A rocket arm and 6-foot-6 size make Herbert one of the game's best pure passers. The Ravens haven't faced Herbert since 2021 when they held him to 195 yards passing during a lopsided 34-6 victory. However, Herbert is more polished now and will surely want to make amends in the rematch.

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Stafford's 2022 season ended prematurely due to a spinal cord contusion, but he is throwing this spring and teammates say he looks healthy. Stafford is one of the NFL's most dangerous quarterbacks when he's right, as he proved during the 2021 season when he led the Rams to a Super Bowl victory.

Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns
Much will be expected of Watson entering his first full season with the Browns, after serving an 11-game suspension to start the 2022 season. The three-time Pro Bowler won his only start against the Ravens last year in Week 14, a 13-3 victory in Cleveland.

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
The Ravens got a close look at Lawrence's talent last season when he threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns against them, rallying the Jaguars to a 28-27 victory. Big things are expected from Lawrence in his third year, after leading Jacksonville to a thrilling comeback playoff win over the Chargers in January.

Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks
Smith was the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year in 2022 with a career-high 30 touchdown passes and his first 4,000-yard season. The Seahawks obtained another weapon for Smith by drafting wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba to team with explosive wide receiver DK Metcalf.

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Tagovailoa threw for six touchdowns and 469 yards against the Ravens last season, leading Miami to a stunning comeback victory in Baltimore. While his concussion history remains a concern, Tagovailoa throwing to speedy wideouts Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle is a threat to any defense.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
Murray hopes to be healthy by Week 1, but the timetable for his return remains uncertain after his January surgery for a torn ACL. Murray is a dangerous playmaker when healthy, but if he's not ready, the Ravens could see Colt McCoy or rookie Clayton Tune.

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
Goff has thrown for over 4,000 yards three times in his career, including 2022 when the Lions went 9-2 over their last 11 games and nearly made the playoffs. However, Goff is 0-2 against the Ravens and has not thrown a touchdown pass against them.

Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans
Tannehill is coming off a tough season in which he was limited by an ankle injury and threw just 13 touchdown passes in 12 games. The Titans drafted Will Levis in the second round, and he joins second-year quarterback Malik Willis waiting in the wings should Tannehill falter.

Brock Purdy/Trey Lance, San Francisco 49ers
Coming off elbow surgery, Purdy isn't expected to be ready Week 1 after elbow surgery, meaning Lance or Sam Darnold could open the season. However, Purdy won seven straight starts as a rookie until he was injured in the NFC Championship game. He's another young quarterback with intriguing potential.

Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pickett suffered a concussion in his first career start against the Ravens last season, but he bounced back in Week 17 by leading a game-winning two-minute drive in Baltimore. Pittsburgh's playoff hopes will largely hinge on how Pickett fares in his second NFL season.

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
The No. 2-overall pick in this year's draft, Stroud is expected to be the Texans' next franchise quarterback. Stroud threw for 85 touchdowns at Ohio State and is the only Big 10 quarterback in history with back-to-back seasons throwing for 30 touchdowns or more.

Gardner Minshew/Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts
Minshew has 24 career starts and gives the Colts a more experienced option if Richardson is not ready to start right away. The fourth-overall pick, Richardson threw for 17 touchdowns and averaged 6.3 yards per carry at Florida last season. He could be the next dual-threat quarterback to thrive in the NFL.
