15 Players to Watch at Ravens OTAs
The Ravens have a bunch of players to watch at Organized Team Activities over the next three weeks.

QB Lamar Jackson
All eyes will be on Jackson, as usual, when he takes the field for the first time as the Ravens' newly minted man. Jackson said on "The Lounge" podcast that it feels like a "fresh start" and that he's "basically starting over." This is the start of Jackson's next chapter as he looks to build towards a championship with upgraded weaponry and a new play-caller. What Jackson does between the whistles probably won't be much of note. He's the same player he was before. But it will be his first time working in-person with new Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken, both in practice and in the classroom. That's where Jackson will do his most important work during OTAs.

WR Rashod Bateman
Bateman is back on the field following last year's foot injury. While he and the Ravens will likely take it slow in ramping him up to full work, it's a development worth paying attention to. Bateman is an essential part of the Ravens offense this season as he looks to put two injury-hampered seasons behind him and realize his high potential.

CB Jalyn Armour-Davis
The Ravens' pair of second-year cornerbacks and 2022 fourth-round picks have a chance to grab a key spot in Baltimore's secondary. The Ravens envisioned Armour-Davis as a starting-caliber cornerback when they drafted him out of Alabama. A hip injury limited his rookie season to just four games, so he has a lot to prove at OTAs.

CB Pepe Williams
Williams suited up for 14 games but, like Armour-Davis, was also limited by injuries and didn't get as many snaps over the second half of the season. With Kyle Hamilton expected to move into more of a traditional safety role this year, the Ravens may use more of a true nickel corner and Williams could fit the bill with his strong instincts and scrappy style.

OLB Tyus Bowser
Bowser played about half of the games last year after coming back from his Achilles tear in the regular-season finale of the 2021 season and registered 2.0 sacks in nine games. With more time to get his body right, the hope is that Bowser will return to his previous production levels this season, and OTAs are a good time to get his body headed in the right direction.

G Ben Cleveland
The Ravens have an open starting spot at left guard after Ben Powers left for Denver in free agency. A third-round pick in 2021, Cleveland could be the next man up in the Ravens' offensive lineman development cycle. He's still massive, but he'll have to win the job with consistency.

RB J.K. Dobbins
Dobbins was off to the races when he came back from his midseason knee procedure. Now healthier than before, he has the foundation for the breakout year he's been dying for. As he enters his fourth season, Dobbins is still a premier talent capable of carrying a heavy load in the Ravens offense.

S Kyle Hamilton
Hamilton is expected to move into more of a traditional safety role after the Ravens traded Chuck Clark to the New York Jets this offseason. That's in line with where Hamilton played at Notre Dame, but it will be a bit of an adjustment at the NFL level

WR Zay Flowers
The rookie first-round pick looked explosive in Football School and OTAs are the next step up. Flowers is expected to have a large role this season, and he'll need to keep pace with the offensive installations and playbook. It will also be a key time for him to strike up a connection with Jackson.

DT Travis Jones
The departure of Calais Campbell to Atlanta leaves an open spot on the defensive line and Jones is the biggest body in the room who could fill the role. A third-round pick last year, Jones flashed as a rookie after dealing with an early-season knee injury. He could be dominant in Year 2 if he continues to sharpen his game this summer.

TE Charlie Kolar
Kolar barely saw the field as a rookie after undergoing a preseason sports hernia surgery. An overlooked offseason loss was Josh Oliver, the big-bodied blocking tight end who went to the Vikings. Kolar was primarily a receiving threat in college, but he has the frame to add more muscle and could carve out more of an offensive role.

TE Isaiah Likely
It looked as if Likely could have a big role in last year's tight-end heavy offense, and he certainly made some plays with 36 catches for 373 yards and three touchdowns. Now with the wide receivers expected to get more action and Mark Andrews still being a leading target, it's up to Likely to convince Monken and Jackson that he deserves looks.

OLB David Ojabo
The Ravens will need a big season from their second-year pass rusher, who they believe is a first-round talent. Ojabo put on 10 pounds of muscle after sitting out almost all of last year recovering from his Achilles tear. Ojabo is in a good place mentally and physically, and he can build on that this summer.

G John Simpson
Simpson is another prime contender for the open starting left guard job. A 17-game starter in 2021 for the Raiders, Simpson has the bulk and talent to contend for the position.

P Jordan Stout
Stout had a solid rookie season, but the Ravens invested a fourth-round draft pick in him last year because they believe he can be one of the best in the league. It will be a key offseason for Stout as he continues to work with Special Teams Coach Randy Brown and Consultant Sam Koch to fine-tune his game.
