TE Nick Boyle
While first-round rookie Hayden Hurst has gradually shaken off a soft-tissue issue and continued to learn, Boyle has shown that he can be relied upon to be a starter if needed. A strong blocker, Boyle has also made tough contested catches to move the chains in practice.

*WR John Brown *Brown gets the (not real) award for the star of the week, as he hauled in at least one deep pass in seemingly every practice. Brown's route-running is superb and has left some of the Ravens' top cornerbacks twisted. His speed is unmatched and the 5-foot-11 target even showed he can elevate to make plays overtop defenders.

CB Maurice Canady
Head Coach John Harbaugh said he considers Canady to be a starter after seeing him break up many passes throughout the week. After a year largely in the slot because of Tavon Young's injury, the long, physical Canady is thriving outside.

WR Michael Crabtree
The Flacco-Crabtree connection is alive and well, as the veteran wide receiver showed a knack for finding space, even if there's just a sliver, in the end zone and making tough catches. Crabtree seems to be having fun with his teammates too.

QB Joe Flacco
Flacco had a strong first week. He got even better in Week 2. After coming to the Under Armour Performance Center Thursday, veteran NFL scribe Peter King said a quarterback can't possibly have a better practice than Flacco did. He's showing much improved accuracy on his deep passes.

OLB Matthew Judon
Judon logged the biggest hit of training camp so far when he drilled undrafted running back Gus Edwards out of bounds during a red-zone drill. Judon is flying around the field and giving rookie offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. all he can handle on the edge.

DE Bronson Kaufusi
After two years without an impact, Kaufusi is making strides this summer. The gigantic third-round pick is learning how to be a stand-up outside linebacker while sometimes dropping his hand in the dirt. On one play, he ran straight through a running back's block attempt for what would've been a sack.

TE Nick Keizer
The undrafted Grand Valley State product (also where Matthew Judon and Brandon Carr went to school) has flashed as a receiver. He hauled in a deep touchdown from Lamar Jackson last week and nearly made a spectacular one-handed touchdown catch that would have been reminiscent of Odell Beckham Jr. during Tuesday's practice.

WR Jordan Lasley
Lasley has struck up a good connection with fellow rookie Lamar Jackson. The two have connected on multiple deep touchdowns, but the prettiest of the bunch came Monday when Lasley essentially ended practice by leaping over a defender and barely getting both feet down for a long score.

G/T Alex Lewis
Lewis continues to get work at center as the Ravens are trying to find their best offensive line combination. It's not a natural position for Lewis, who was a tackle in college, but he's making steady improvement, especially with his snaps.

WR Chris Moore
Moore continues to play at a steady, high level. He's shown excellent hands on both intermediate and deep receptions. It was also refreshing to hear him say he hopes he's still a key special teams player.

WR Breshad Perriman
Perriman is starting to come on. He's healthy, strong and benefitting from all this practice time. Perriman has made some nifty catches, including a deep reception behind Marlon Humphrey, and hasn't put the ball on the turf in recent days.

WR Jaleel Scott
Quiet for much of the summer, Scott caught a pair of long passes this week, showing he can be more than a red-zone threat.

DT Zach Sieler
The rookie seventh-round pick is starting to turn it on. He drew praise in the defensive line's one-on-one drills.

P/K Kaare Vedvik
Vedvik has kicked so well that he may make the transition from punter to placekicker. Armed with a huge leg, he drilled a 63-yard field goal during Tuesday's practice.

DE Chris Wormley
Defensive Coordinator Wink Martindale said Wormley has started practicing the way he expects in the past week. Wormley breezed past rookie center Bradley Bozeman during Saturday's practice and jumped to deflect a pass a couple plays later.

LB Kenny Young
Young is challenging Patrick Onwuasor for the starting inside linebacker job because the rookie fourth-round pick is flying around the field so much. He broke up one pass intended for rookie tight end Hayden Hurst a solid 20 yards down the field.

CB Tavon Young
Back from a torn ACL, Young continues to show that he'll be a difference-maker in the Ravens secondary this year. He hardly gives up any space to Baltimore's wideouts and has broken up numerous passes, including in difficult one-on-one situations.
