As the new 2017 draft picks arrived in Baltimore Thursday for the start of this weekend's rookie minicamp, the team handed out jersey numbers to its seven draft picks.
Here's a rundown of what number each draft pick will wear:
CB Marlon Humphrey – No. 29Humphrey will make a change from the number he wore at Alabama. Humphrey was No. 26 in college, but second-year cornerback Maurice Canady already claims that number.
OLB Tyus Bowser – No. 54The pass rusher from Houston will take the number Zachary Orr wore the last three seasons. Bowser wore No. 81 in college, but linebackers aren't eligible to wear that number in the NFL.
DE Chris Wormley – No. 93Wormley will compete for the starting defensive end job that opened with Lawrence Guy's departure in free agency, and he'll also wear Guy's old number.
OLB Tim Williams – No. 56Williams is the only Ravens draft pick who actually gets to keep his old college number.
OL Nico Siragusa – No. 65Siragusa was No. 56 in college, so he just reversed that for his NFL number.
OL Jermaine Eluemunor – No. 71The big offensive lineman from Texas A&M will take Rick Wagner's former number that came available when he signed with the Detroit Lions.
S Chuck Clark – No. 36Cornerback Tavon Young was No. 36 last year, but he switched to No. 25 this offseason. That opened No. 36 for the sixth-round pick from Virginia Tech.
