Justice Hill, a versatile offensive threat having his best season, did not practice Wednesday due to personal reasons as the Ravens prepare for Saturday's crucial AFC North game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Hill is having his best all-around season as a runner (143 yards, one touchdown), receiver (42 catches, 383 yards, three touchdowns) and kick returner.
Against the Giants on Sunday, Hill had five catches for 61 yards and scored the Ravens' final touchdown, catching a pass in the flat and taking it to the house for a 27-yard score. He also opened the game with a 59-yard kick return that was the Ravens' longest of the season.
"He's been a weapon for us. All he does is come in the building and work hard and smile a lot and embrace his role," Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken said after practice. "... He plays special teams, [and] he does everything we ask him to do and that's why he signed an extension during the year. He's a valuable asset for us [in] running the ball [and] catching the ball out of the backfield."
Also absent were wide receiver Nelson Agholor (concussion), cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring), and wide receiver Diontae Johnson, who has been excused from team activities. All three did not practice Tuesday.
Wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot), guard Daniel Faalele (knee), and outside linebacker Odafe Oweh (ankle) were added to the injury report and were limited participants Wednesday.
Safety Sanoussi Kane (hamstring) and outside linebacker Adisa Isaac (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday after being limited Tuesday.
The Steelers got good injury news Wednesday as star edge rusher T.J. Watt (ankle) returned practice as a limited participant. Leading receiver George Pickens (hamstring), safety DeShon Elliott (hamstring), backup quarterback Justin Fields (abdominal), and cornerback Donte Jackson (back) all didn't practice for the second consecutive day.
