Veteran defensive tackle Lawrence Guy, who played in Baltimore for three seasons (2014-16), will visit with the Ravens and work out on Wednesday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The 34-year-old Guy played all 17 games with the New England Patriots in 2023, making 14 starts and 38 tackles before he was released in February. He was a mainstay on the Patriots' defensive line with 103 starts over the past seven seasons.
The Ravens have five returning defensive linemen on their 53-man roster – All-Pro Justin Madubuike, Michael Pierce, Travis Jones, Broderick Washington and Brent Urban. Guy would add depth and experience from a player the Ravens have history with.
After joining the Ravens midway through the 2014 season, Guy played in 43 games in Baltimore, with a career-high 4.5 sacks in 2015 and 28 tackles in 2016 before signing a four-year, $20 million contract with the Patriots during free agency the following offseason. Over his 12 NFL seasons, Guy has 507 tackles and 17 sacks.
