Ravens tight end Mark Andrews returned to practice Friday for the first time following a car accident on Aug. 14.

Andrews was sidelined for more than two weeks, but Head Coach John Harbaugh has consistently said it was not something to worry about and Andrews came away from the crash without any serious injuries.

"Mark looked good. He looked good [and] had a good practice," Harbaugh said Friday.

Andrews echoed that statement in his first time meeting with the media since the accident.

"I'm feeling really good," Andrews said. "I'm excited. My body feels good and I can't wait for this first game of the season."

The Ravens are set to kick off against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 5, less than a week away, and they expect to have their Pro Bowl tight end when they do.

Andrews pushed to return from a fractured leg last season and stepped back on the field for the Ravens' AFC Championship game against the Chiefs, but still wasn't fully healthy and played just 18 snaps. This time, he'll be ready to roll.

Former Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown, however, will not play in the season opener after suffering a preseason shoulder injury.
