General Manager Eric DeCosta anticipates Mark Andrews staying in Baltimore next season.
There had been trade speculation about Andrews as he heads into the final year of his contract, but DeCosta addressed those rumors on Friday night after the conclusion of the second and third rounds of the NFL Draft.
"At this point, I really expect Mark to be on this team," DeCosta said. "Great player. Love him. Competitive, tough, playmaker. I would expect him to be on the team."
Andrews is the franchise leader in career touchdown receptions (51) and has been a reliable weapon for Lamar Jackson since they were both drafted in 2018. Keeping Andrews means Baltimore will again have one of the league's best tight end rooms with Andrews, Isaiah Likely, and Charlie Kolar.
