The Super Bowl is in the rear-view mirror, teams are beginning preparations for the run to Super Bowl LX in California.

Here are the important dates to know this 2025 offseason:

Feb. 24-March 3: NFL Scouting Combine

The Ravens' scouting department and coaches will make the annual pilgrimage to Indianapolis to get better acquainted with this year's draft prospects. It's also when fans will hear from General Manager Eric DeCosta and Head Coach John Harbaugh next.

March 4: Franchise tag deadline

Teams can designate franchise or transition players beginning Feb. 20, but it typically happens much closer to the deadline. The Ravens don't have a clear candidate this offseason like they did in recent years, though left tackle Ronnie Stanley could warrant consideration.

March 10-12: Free agency window opens

During this two-day period, teams may begin contract negotiations with players' agents. Deals cannot be finalized, but they are often reported as agreed to during this window.

March 12: New league year begins

At 4 p.m. ET, all free-agent deals can be finalized and announced by the clubs.

March 30-April 2: Annual League Meeting

The who's who of the NFL will convene in Palm Beach, Fla., to discuss big-picture league matters, rule changes, etc. Every head coach also meets with the media during a coaches breakfast.

April 18: Deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets

Safety Ar'Darius Washington is a restricted free agent who the Ravens will likely try to retain.

April 21: Offseason workout programs begin

For teams with returning head coaches, players return to the building to begin preparing for next season with the strength and conditioning program. This is the start of the offseason grind.

April 24-26: NFL Draft

The Ravens have the 27th-overall pick and are projected to carry 11 picks into this year's draft, which will be held in Green Bay, Wisc.

May 1: Fifth-year option deadline

If they haven't already worked out contract extensions, the Ravens are expected to extend fifth-year options to safety Kyle Hamilton and center Tyler Linderbaum, who were both first-round picks in 2022 and are now two-time Pro Bowlers. According to OvertheCap.com, Hamilton's is valued at $19.6 million and Linderbaum's is $25.1 million for 2027.

May 2-5 or May 9-12: Rookie minicamp

The rookies take the field for the first time.

June 1: Cuts deadline

If the Ravens release any veteran players, this is the last day it could happen with all the dead money from that release counting against the 2025 salary cap. If released after June 1st, it's spread over the next two years.

July 15: Franchise tag deadline

This is the deadline for a player who receives the franchise or transition tag to sign a long-term deal before they are locked into playing that one year on the tag.
