Press Release: Ravens Youth Sports Grant Now Available

The Baltimore Ravens have enhanced their annual equipment and apparel grant to benefit even more athletes. The newly revised Ravens Youth Sports Grant (formerly Ravens Youth Football Grant) has more package offerings designed to support student-athletes throughout Maryland. With support from Under Armour, the grant is provided by the Ravens Foundation, Inc., the organization's charitable arm that is committed to improving, encouraging and enabling the healthy development of our community.

Beginning today, youth and high school football (tackle and flag) programs are eligible to apply for an apparel grant that would outfit all players within their organization in brand new Under Armour jerseys and cleats. Also, new this year, female-based sports programs can apply for a new package containing Under Armour sports bras. Additionally, a new package has been established to outfit football teams with Guardian Caps – a soft shell football helmet cover that is engineered for impact reduction. These new packages join a list of other grants provided annually by the Ravens, including field equipment and Heat & Heart packages that feature life-saving AED devices, all to ensure positive health and safety development for young athletes.

Entering its 15th year, this grant has served over 7,000 area children by providing jerseys, cleats and/or other football accessories, including most recently 170 local youth football teams who benefited from the 2024 grant.

Annually, the Ravens contribute more than 500 cleats to area football teams, donate weight-training equipment and salute local high school coaches through the Ravens Coach of the Week program. Through Ravens RISE and the Ravens Girls Flag football initiatives, the organization also holds football clinics and flag football exhibitions, administers 7-on-7 football tournaments for area high school teams, hosts clinics for football coaches and highlights a high school football game each week during the regular season with the High School Football Showdown.

Ravens Youth Sports Grant applications are available at www.BaltimoreRavens.com/SportsGrants and must be submitted no later than April 11, 2025.

Grant decisions will be made in April.
