With 2024 in the books, six Ravens looked back on their best/favorite moment of the year.
Here are their answers:
OLB Kyle Van Noy
Van Noy: Being healthy, that's number one. Watching my son score 11 goals in a soccer game.
11?!
Van Noy: Yep, 11. He dominated.
What was the final?
Van Noy: I stopped counting. It was a lot to a little. He said I was going to score 10, and I was like, 'Yeah, let's get like two or three.' And then he was like, 'No, 10.' And I was like, 'All right, go get 10.' And then he got 11 and pointed at me, and I was like, 'Uh-oh, that's awesome.' But we're learning how to pass. He was 4 at the time it happened. It was pretty funny. So that's up there. Vacation with wifey to Turks and Caicos, that's up there, for our 10-year anniversary, so that was a blessing. And then playing Monterey Peninsula for golf and Pebble Beach.
What did you shoot?
Van Noy: At Monterey, I shot an 88, and then at Pebble, I think I shot a 90.
TE Isaiah Likely
Likely: I had my second annual camp back home, so that was a good memory. Seeing where I am in life and just giving back to the youth, seeing the smile on their faces.
Was it different in Year 2 compared to Year 1?
Likely: Yeah, just having more resources, more sponsorships, more people showed up.
Was there anything about it that stood out to you?
Likely: Having a couple of the guys coming. Zay [Flowers] and 'Leek' (Malik Cunningham) and a couple of my homeboys from other teams. And just having my other homeboy (Commanders CB Mike Sainristil), my brother basically, run it with me. That was definitely a special moment just seeing everybody come together.
FB Pat Ricard
Ricard: The birth of my daughter.
Congrats! How has that changed your perspective on everything?
Ricard: Now I have, it might be cliché, but more accountability in my life. I'm obviously married, but having a human being that you made on this planet is a little bit different. So there's just a different joy to my life now.
Is it different coming home and having her there?
Ricard: A word I always say is joy. Like whenever I come home, she just makes me happy. It's a different feeling.
LS Nick Moore
Moore: We had our second child. So that was a pretty big deal. My oldest turned 1 in January, so that was fun. Came back, played after the injury. That was pretty big. And football-wise, we had a pretty good game against Cincinnati. Hit a clutch 56-yarder. Hit a game-winner. But this year as a whole has been pretty fun. We're winning a lot of football games. It's always fun to do that. Christmas game was pretty cool. I played pretty well, and then the team played really well as a whole. So that was fun. I got to see Beyonce perform live, her, Post Malone, and Shaboozey. So that was fun.
Did you get out there for any of it?
Moore: Yeah, I was able to see the last two or three minutes before she came off. And then I walked right by her when she was coming off. So that was cool. That was neat.
Do you have any New Year's resolutions?
Moore: I'd love to win the Super Bowl. I think that would be fun. So right now, we're just really focusing on finishing the season strong and continuing to play well into the playoffs. And we'll worry about the New Year once the football season's over. That'll be kind of the new beginning, if you will. Right now, we're just focusing on what we're doing right now and winning this first game against Cleveland and then setting ourselves up in the playoffs, winning the division, getting a home game, that'd be great. So that's our goal for now.
OLB Odafe Oweh
Oweh: I'd probably say the first home game, [having] 2.5 [sacks] was probably the highlight of 2024.
Not your brother, Otega, leading Kentucky basketball over Duke?
Oweh: That was up there, too. Him beating Duke and strapping up Cooper Flagg. That was a surreal moment just seeing him ball out and all his dreams coming true, and he's still doing in, too.
Tavius Robinson
Robinson: Playing on the Ravens and being a part of the Ravens.
Do you have any New Years resolutions?
Robinson: No, not really. Not yet at least.
