The Baltimore Ravens have a long history of giving back to the community, and that includes the holiday season. This past Monday and Tuesday, the Ravens made 34 player appearances at 14 events to celebrate Thanksgiving and helped impact nearly 3,000 families in the Baltimore community.
Below is a timeline highlighting this week's holiday happenings:
11/21 @ 10:30 a.m. - Ravens S Marqueston Huff,P Sam Koch, WR Steve Smith Sr., RB Terrance WestandalumniLB Jameel McClain* distributed winter weather gear to 250 men at the Ravens 13th-annual Helping Up Mission coat distribution. *
11/21 @ 11:30 a.m. - RavensDB/LB Anthony Levine Sr. and ILB Zachary Orrjoined the United Way of Central Maryland to distribute 250 holiday meals for their 24th-annual Harvest of Plenty meal program.
*11/21 @ 12 p.m. – Ravens LS Morgan Cox and mascot Poe stopped by Curtis Bay Elementary with the Ravens Bookmobile to distribute books to 350 students. *
*11/21 @ 12:30 p.m. – Ravens TE Benjamin Watson sat down with some lucky Ravens' PSL holders for lunch at the Ravens Under Armour Performance Center. *
11/21 @ 1:30 – Ravens WR Kamar Aiken delivered *200 turkeys to families at City Springs Elementary/Middle School.*
*11/21 @ 1:30 p.m. – Ravens DE Lawrence Guy delivered 100 turkeys to multiple Baltimore-area schools, including the Community School: Academic & Mentoring High School. *
11/21 @ 4 p.m. – Ravens CB Shareece Wright visited with patients at the Maryland Proton Treatment Cancer Center in Baltimore.
*11/21 @ 5 p.m. – Ravens DB/RS Lardarius Webb, joined by teammates CB Maurice Canady, RB Terrance WestandCB Tavon Young distributed 250 Thanksgiving meals for his eighth-annual Turkey Drive at the Webster Kendrick Boys and Girls Club. *
11/21 @ 6 p.m. – Ravens DE Lawrence Guy, CB Shareece Wright and G/C Jeremy Zuttah joined alumni G Jeff Blackshear, LB Jameel McClain, RB Ray Rice and K Matt Stover to serve 350 meals for the 11th-annual holiday dinner at the Helping Up Mission men's homeless shelter.
*11/21 @ 5 p.m. – Ravens CB/RS Lardarius Webb joined Bridges Baltimore and over 200 community members and the St. Paul's School for its 12th-annual Holiday Dinner. *
11/22 @ 5 p.m. – Ravens RB Terrance West* *distributed 100 Thanksgiving meals to local children and their families at the Parkview Recreation Center.
*11/22 @ 6 p.m. – Ravens WR Breshad Perriman distributed over 300 meals to families in Brooklyn Park, Md. *
*11/22 @ 6 p.m. – Ravens DT Brandon Williams served Thanksgiving dinner to more than 50 youth at the Boys & Girls Club of Westport Homes. In 2015, Williams adopted the Westport Homes chapter and continues to host events for youth and their families. *
11/22 @ 6 p.m. - Ravens LS Morgan Cox, DT Carl Davis, DB/LB Anthony Levine Sr., DE Kapron Lewis-Moore, K Justin Tucker and alumni LB Bart Scott joined alumni LB Jameel McClain to host his seventh-annual Thanksgiving dinner for 500 members of the Community College of Baltimore County.
