Ronnie Stanley Has Been Named to the Pro Bowl

Pro Bowl Team Meeting Individuals-Ronnie

Ronnie Stanley's superb 2024 season has earned him a trip to the Pro Bowl after all.

The Ravens left tackle will replace Houston Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil.

That means there's currently 10 Ravens scheduled to be at the Pro Bowl Games in Orlando. The Ravens originally had a league high nine voted in.

It will be Stanley's first Pro Bowl appearance since 2019. The following season, he signed a five-year contract extension making him the highest paid offensive lineman in the league, but he suffered a major ankle injury just two days later.

It was a long road back from that injury for Stanley. He missed the rest of the 2020 season, all but one game of the 2021 season, the first four games of the 2022 season, and dealt with knee injuries for much of 2023.

Healthy this season, Stanley started every game for the first time in his career and played at a high level, helping to protect Lamar Jackson's blindside during another potential MVP season and helping to pave the way for Derrick Henry's nearly 2,000 rushing yards.

According to Pro Football Focus, Stanley surrendered just two sacks and 35 pressures in 535 pass blocking snaps.

"Ronnie played like an All-Pro this year, in my opinion," rookie right tackle Roger Rosengarten said. "I think he should've been a Pro Bowler. He played his ass off all year."
