Justin Tucker is already back to his winning ways.
The day after his extra point miss in Sunday's 24-23 loss to the New Orleans Saints, Tucker was the cornhole champion at the Beltway Boards + Brews event hosted by Matt Stover's Players Philanthropy Fund Monday night.
First of all, it speaks to Tucker's character that he even showed up at the charity event. A lot of people in similar circumstances would just bail.
Second of all, it says something that he won. Kicking field goals and playing cornhole aren't the same thing. If they were, maybe I could be in the NFL.
Still, it shows Tucker was at least capable of shaking off the heartbreaking extra point miss, have some fun, locking in and get a W.
The event, which brought out dozens of Ravens players to play alongside fans, looked to be a huge success. Beforehand, Stover, who knows a thing or two about bouncing back from misses, spoke on “Glenn Clark Radio” about how he's sure Tucker will be just fine.
"Justin as a person is a stand-up guy. He has tremendous character. He always stands up and humbles himself," Stover said.
"What makes a great kicker is he wants the ball. He wants the opportunity to win the game for his team. I know coming this Sunday, Tucker will have that attitude."
