The Lamar Jackson hype train is boarding, and fans may want to jump on now.
The Ravens’ official team store saw a huge increase in sales this weekend, even when compared to past drafts, and it was driven by fans buying Jackson's jersey.
The No. 1 seller in the store last week was Jackson's purple No. 8 jersey. The No. 2 seller was Jackson's black alternate jersey.
Purchases soared on Friday, the day after Baltimore traded back into the first round to select the exciting Louisville quarterback and former Heisman Trophy winner at No. 32 overall.
Of course, fans are always excited to get the first-round pick's jersey. But this was a different level of excitement.
Orders increased by 400 percent when compared to the same day after the first round last year.
"It's great to see our fans so excited about our two first round draft picks, especially Lamar Jackson," said Ravens Director of Retail Chris Inouye.
