ILB Patrick Queen vs. RB Christian McCaffrey

Queen has improved his pass coverage this offseason and there is no greater test coming out of the backfield than McCaffrey. Before playing in just three games last year, McCaffrey caught 116 passes in 2019 and 107 in 2018. He's a matchup nightmare for linebackers, so don't expect Queen to win the majority of their one-on-one battles. It will certainly provide an opportunity to learn and see how well Queen can hang. RT Alejandro Villanueva vs. DEs Haason Reddick/Brian Burns

Villanueva has seen it all as a pass protector, but all that experience has been at left tackle in the NFL. Switching over to the right side, Villanueva's technique will be put to the test against Reddick and Burns, a pair of speed rushers with major sack production. Reddick broke out with 12.5 sacks last season and Burns recorded nine as a first-round rookie.

CB Anthony Averett vs. WR D.J. Moore

Moore led the Panthers with 1,193 receiving yards last season. He's put up back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in his first three years in the league. In the 2018 NFL Draft, the Ravens traded back twice in the first round and Moore, who starred at Maryland, was taken one spot ahead of them. Baltimore took Hayden Hurst with its next selection. CB Marcus Peters vs. WR Robby Anderson

Moore wasn't the Panthers' only 1,000-yard receiver last year. Anderson, who was signed as a free agent last year, posted 1,096 yards and led the Panthers with 95 catches. He's known for being a speed burner on the outside, but Anderson showed he can be a high-volume target too. This is a matchup between two savvy vets. LG Ben Cleveland vs. DT Derrick Brown

Cleveland is expected to return to practice Wednesday after missing about a week due to a concussion. He's looking to emerge from the pack in the Ravens' left guard competition, and he'll have a familiar foe in Brown, who was a first-round pick out of Auburn last year. WR James Proche II vs. CB Jaycee Horn
The Ravens' breakout wide receiver in camp will go against the Panthers' first-round pick (No. 8 overall). Proche has made the spectacular look easy in training camp, but he's looking to prove he can carry that over against other teams and in games. It will be a big week for Proche. TE Mark Andrews vs. S Jeremy Chinn

Chinn finished second in the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year voting with four ½ votes while Queen was third with two votes. Chinn was all over the field, leading the Panthers with 117 tackles while notching five passes defensed and one interception. Lamar Jackson and Andrews have been nearly automatic in practices this summer, and Chinn will be a good challenger to disrupt it.

S Chuck Clark vs. QB Sam Darnold

The last time Darnold faced the Ravens, he was a member of the New York Jets in 2019. The Ravens blew the Jets out, 42-21, on Thursday Night Football as Jackson set the new record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season. Darnold, however, had an uneven night in which he was intercepted by Clark. OLB Odafe Oweh vs. RT Taylor Moton

It will be fun to watch Oweh go against another team's left tackle. Moton, an experienced former second-round pick, will be a good measuring stick for the Ravens' first-round rookie, who has been dominant in practice and flashed in his first preseason game.

WR Sammy Watkins vs. CB A.J. Bouye

This is an intriguing matchup between two veterans joining new teams, both looking to reignite their careers. Watkins has been one of the Ravens' best offensive players in training camp. Bouye might be suspended for the first two games of the regular season so he's eager to shine this summer and has gotten rave reviews in Carolina so far.
