RB J.K. Dobbins

His pass-catching looks greatly improved and he should get more carries in 2021. The result could be a breakout season. Dobbins was ranked as just the NFL's 26th- best running back by Pro Football Focus, and he'll start camp with an attitude despite his rookie success (805 yards, nine touchdowns, 6.0 yards per carry). "That chip on my shoulder is pretty big," Dobbins said. "I've got people to prove wrong."

TE Mark Andrews

It didn't seem to matter who defended Andrews during OTAs and mandatory minicamp. He got open, made plays, and looked like someone intent on taking his game to another level in a contract year." I really feel like he's running routes the best that I've seen him run routes since he's been here," Head Coach John Harbaugh said.

WR Rashod Bateman

There's buzz surrounding the Ravens' top draft pick, a talented wide receiver who's expected to add juice to the passing attack. Bateman has already impressed veterans like All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey with his poise and precise route running. "I told (General Manager Eric) DeCosta, I was like 'Hey man, I think we got a pretty good one in Bateman,' Humphrey said.

WR Marquise "Hollywood" Brown

There has been plenty of talk about Baltimore's new targets, but Brown could be the wide receiver who benefits most from the additions. Brown may even be faster than when he arrived in Baltimore, and he is definitely stronger with more experience. Humphrey has already predicted a 1,000-yard season for Brown, who remains the team's most explosive big-play wideout.

CB Marlon Humphrey

One of the league's best cornerbacks was a consistent presence at offseason workouts. Being an All-Pro hasn't quenched Humphrey's thirst to improve. "It's a long offseason and I was ready to get to work," Humphrey said. He's the best in the business at dislodging the football from opponents, and now he's talking about getting more interceptions. Competition remains Humphrey's comfort zone.

QB Lamar Jackson

Already an electrifying player, Jackson is pushing himself to be more consistent in all aspects of playing quarterback. The final practice of mandatory minicamp was Jackson's best, which was not a coincidence. For him, the offseason is already over. "It's straight go-mode right now," Jackson said. Questions about his contract negotiations haven't deterred his focus. Jackson is planning on playing football in February.

RB Gus Edwards

Edwards inked a much-deserved new contract in June and is a key part of the NFL's most dynamic running attack. He's a power runner with enough agility to make people miss, and his improvement as a receiver continues. Edwards's intense demeanor reflects a player who's determined to help the Ravens win, as he continues to maximize his opportunities.

DT Justin Madubuike

Madubuike stacked impressive practices during OTAs and minicamp, taking advantage of his first full offseason. He is the young lion among veteran defensive linemen like Calais Campbell, Brandon Williams and Derek Wolfe, and they all are impressed by his talent. More snaps in the defensive line rotation look almost certain to come Madubuike's way if he stays healthy.

ILB Patrick Queen

Queen is another second-year player taking full advantage of a more normal offseason. It was obvious during OTA reps that his pass defense has improved. Queen is coming off a solid 2020 season, finishing third in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting, but he could still make a huge jump. He's very familiar with the Baltimore's rich legacy at inside linebacker and wants to be part of it.

CB Jimmy Smith

It was obvious Smith kept himself in top condition this offseason. His physique at mandatory minicamp looked ready for Week 1. Entering his 11th season, Smith remains a key member of the secondary who can matchup with bigger receivers and the Ravens have enough secondary depth to manage his snaps. When healthy, Smith is still a very good player who makes Baltimore's defense better.

RT Alejandro Villanueva

A left tackle almost his entire NFL career, Villanueva is expected to be the starting right tackle replacing Pro Bowler Orlando Brown Jr., who was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. Villanueva and right guard Kevin Zeitler are expected to be the new right side tandem in Baltimore, and they did not miss a beat at mandatory minicamp. "Watching them play has been a pleasure," Harbaugh said.

WR Sammy Watkins

Watching Watkins run routes and get open during mandatory minicamp was a reminder of his talent when healthy. He's had big games in big moments, and he won't have to carry the offensive load. Baltimore was viewed as a good fit for Watkins, catching passes from Jackson and working with Pass Game Specialist Keith Williams, Watkins' personal offseason coach. The fit seems to be working.

C Bradley Bozeman

His switch from left guard to center is well underway, and Bozeman has looked confident and natural at the position he played at Alabama and in high school. Snapping accuracy in key moments has been an issue for Baltimore's centers in recent years, but Bozeman believes he's the right player to fix it. "I can't control the past," Bozeman said. "I can only control the future from here on out."

CB Tavon Young

Young being on the field at mandatory minicamp was another important step in his recovery from knee surgery, the third season-ending injury of his career. One of the league's best nickel corners, Young still has weeks to get ready for Week 1 without having to rush himself. His ability to win one-on-one battles with slot receivers and to defend the run would add a feistiness to Baltimore's secondary.

CB Brandon Stephens

The Ravens drafted Stephens in the third round, believing he had the versatility to play safety as well as corner. He looked comfortable during OTAs and minicamp regardless of where lined up. The Ravens are deep in the secondary and won't have to rush him onto the field. Secondary competition will be intense, but a strong training camp could put Stephens in position for reps if the Ravens have injuries.
