5 Most Memorable Moments In Ravens-Patriots History
The Ravens and Patriots have traded big plays and shocking turns of events over the years. Here's a look back at some of the most memorable over the past decade.

12/3/2007: Bart Scott Throws Refs' Flag Into StandsThe Patriots were undefeated entering the Week 13 game and 20-point favorites against a reeling Ravens squad. The Ravens led late in the fourth quarter, but were called for two drive-extending penalties on fourth down on the Patriots' final game-winning push. Baltimore was flagged a whopping 13 times in the game, and linebacker Bart Scott tossed the refs' final flag into the stands. Patriots won, 27-24, and went on to an undefeated regular season.

1/10/2010: Ray Rice Shocks Gillette StadiumPatriots quarterback Tom Brady had never lost a home playoff game, but the Ravens came in and shocked Gillette Stadium. Ravens running back Ray Rice went 83 yards for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage. On the Patriots' first possession, linebacker Terrell Suggs stripped Brady deep in Patriots territory. The Ravens had a 24-0 lead by the end of the first quarter, in which Brady had three turnovers. The Ravens won, 33-14.

1/22/2012: Lee Evans Drops TD, Billy Cundiff Misses FGThe Ravens and Patriots met in the AFC championship for the first time. Trailing by three points, Baltimore drove to New England's 14-yard line with less than 30 seconds remaining. Wide receiver Lee Evans had a game-winning touchdown in his hands, but Patriots cornerback Sterling Moore knocked it out. Two plays later, kicker Billy Cundiff shanked a 32-yard field-goal attempt that would have forced overtime wide left.

1/20/2013: Anquan Boldin's Owns Patriots In Fourth QuarterIn the AFC championship rematch, Baltimore trailed New England, 13-7, at halftime, before quarterback Joe Flacco and receiver Anquan Boldin took over in the second half. Boldin's first touchdown catch was a 3-yard jump ball in which Patriots safety Devin McCourty simply got bullied in mid-air. Boldin looked down and pointed at McCourty as he lay at his feet in the end zone. The touchdown gave the Ravens a 21-13 lead, and it was a statement of dominance.

1/10/2015: Trick Play Ties The GameThe Patriots had already used some tricky formations to come back from a 14-point lead the Ravens took in the first half. Then a backwards pass and 51-yard toss from wide receiver Danny Amendola to wide receiver Julian Edelman tied the game again in the second half after the Ravens had taken a second 14-point lead. The momentum had officially swung in New England's favor. The Patriots won 35-31.
