Breaking Down Ravens' Five Pro Bowlers
Here's why these Ravens made it on the 2022 Pro Bowl roster.

QB Lamar Jackson (backup, second Pro Bowl)
Jackson was the league's most prolific offensive player through the first five weeks. He leads all NFL quarterbacks in rushing yards (767), while also passing for 2,882 yards and 16 touchdowns. He led the NFL in total yards (1,860) and ranked fifth in passing yards and eighth in rushing. Jackson has gone through a tough stretch the past several weeks, but it's a display of the widespread recognition that he is an elite talent and one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in the league. Jackson finished fourth in fan voting, so it was the league's coaches and players that put him over the top and on the team.

TE Mark Andrews (starter, second Pro Bowl)
Andrews is one of two AFC starters alongside Kansas City's Travis Kelce. Andrews has the third-most receiving yards in the AFC, trailing Kelce by just four yards, and has the most receptions of any tight end in the league (85). Andrews is also among the league leaders with eight touchdowns. The fourth-year tight end has been a central figure in Baltimore's offense the past three years, but he took his game to another level this season and is on the cusp of breaking more franchise records.

FB Patrick Ricard (starter, third Pro Bowl)
Even though Ricard was coming off an offseason hip surgery and has dealt with back and knee injuries this season, he's still been a dominant force on the field. Despite injuries at running back, Ricard's blocking has helped Baltimore still rank third in rushing in the league. He has also shown another wrinkle to his game with a career-high 63 receiving yards on eight catches.

K Justin Tucker (starter, fifth Pro Bowl)
The most accurate kicker of all-time is having another spectacular season. Tucker holds the AFC's best field-goal percentage at 93.5% with 29 of 31 field-goal attempts splitting the uprights. He's made all 27 of his extra point attempts. Tucker is a league-best 6-for-6 on field goals of 50-plus yards and 15-of-15 on second half field goals, including 8-of-8 in the fourth quarter/overtime. His record-setting, game-winning 66-yard field goal in Detroit earlier this season rocked the NFL landscape.

RS Devin Duvernay (starter, first Pro Bowl)
In his first year as the Ravens' full-time kickoff and punt returner, Duvernay's 14.4 yards per punt return is tops in the league among returners with at least 12 attempts. His 360 total punt return yards and six punt returns of 20-plus yrds also lead the NFL. Duvernay's 901 kickoff return yards rank fourth in the league. The Ravens have the NFL's top special teams unit in part because of Duvernay's excellent returns this season.
