Five Players to Watch at Combine: Defensive Line
Calais Campbell, Brandon Williams and Justin Ellis are unrestricted free agents and Derek Wolfe missed the 2021 season due to injury. Here are five defensive linemen attending next week's NFL Combine that Baltimore may target.

Jordan Davis, Georgia
Davis was arguably the best run-stuffer in college football last season on a team that won the national championship. Listed at 6-foot-6, 340 pounds, Davis plays even bigger. He often occupied two blockers and was still a disruptive force with 32 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks. The Ravens pride themselves on stopping the run, and Davis could make an immediate impact though he is still developing as a pass rusher. He also blocked two field goals last year and could make an immediate impact on special teams.

Logan Hall, Houston
Hall played effectively in college while lining up both inside and outside along the defensive line. With 6.5 sacks last season, Hall pressured quarterbacks consistently and strengthening the pass rush is a priority for the Ravens. Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network, a former Ravens scout, was impressed with Hall's week at the Senior Bowl. "I think he's going to have a chance to be an excellent pass rusher from the three-technique spot at the next level," Jeremiah wrote. "He solidified his place in my top 50 after his performance."

DeMarvin Leal, Texas A&M
Leal led all SEC defensive linemen with 58 tackles and he also had a career-high 8.5 sacks. Baltimore already has a young defensive lineman from Texas A&M, Justin Madubuike, who plays with a high motor. Leal takes a similar approach and his improvement as a pass rusher raised his draft stock. Leal was often double-teamed, yet finished with at least 37 tackles in all three seasons as a starter. The Ravens want to get younger on their defensive front and adding Leal to the fold could be part of that process.

Phidarian Mathis, Alabama
It's never shocking when the Ravens draft a player from Alabama. Mathis was voted a captain by his Crimson Tide teammates, a reflection of the respect he earned as a player and leader. With 53 tackles and nine sacks in 2021, Mathis was a disruptive presence with a penchant for playing his best in big games. Mathis has undoubtedly heard plenty about the Ravens from other Alabama players who have made the transition to Baltimore. Mathis may get even more consideration should Calais Campbell or Brandon Williams depart in free agency.

Devonte Wyatt, Georgia
Wyatt was a key member of Georgia's national-championship caliber defense. Run-stopping is Wyatt's forte – he only had five sacks in four seasons at Georgia. However, Wyatt had seven tackles for loss last season and his ability to occupy two offensive linemen gave teammates freedom to make plays. Wyatt had an outstanding week of practice during the Senior Bowl which raised his draft stock. Some pundits are predicting that the 6-foot-5, 275-pound Wyatt will be a Top 10 pick if he continues his offseason momentum with a strong showing at the Combine.
