Five Players to Watch at Combine: Linebacker
The Ravens have a great tradition at linebacker and could find another gem at this year's NFL Scouting Combine.

Nakobe Dean, Georgia
Dean reacts quickly as a run defender due to his speed, vision and exceptional instincts. He's a sure tackler with good discipline who rarely runs himself out of position. He was also an effective blitzer at Georgia, timing his rushes well and disguising his intentions. Scouts will pay attention to his measurements at the Combine, because he's listed at 225 pounds and could be even lighter on game days. However, Dean was a playmaker in college and could pair with Patrick Queen to give Baltimore an effective young linebacker combination.

Christian Harris, Alabama
The pipeline from Alabama to Baltimore could continue with Harris. He's had 79 tackles in each of the last two seasons, shooting through gaps to make plays as a run defender. Harris is a hard hitter who delivered some thumping blows to ballcarriers, and with 10 sacks over the past two seasons, he showed good instincts as a blitzer. He has the size and athleticism to match up with tight ends in pass coverage, making him a potential three-down linebacker in the NFL. Former Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley made an instant impact when he joined the Ravens, and Harris would love that same opportunity.

Devin Lloyd, Utah
Lloyd is versatile linebacker with the potential to help a defense in several ways. He lined up both inside and outside at Utah and was an effective run defender and pass rusher. He was Defensive Player of the Year in the Pac-10 with four interceptions and eight sacks last season. He's a freakish athlete who can cover tight ends and running backs in pass coverage, while also making an impact as a blitzer. A strong workout at the Combine would increase Lloyd's chances to be a top-10 pick, but the Ravens could grab him if he falls to No. 14.

Channing Tindall, Georgia
A physical linebacker from a top college program, Tindall will likely make in impact on special teams immediately, and he is viewed as a prospect with a high ceiling. Georgia had an extremely talented defense and Tindall's work was somewhat overshadowed. However, the Combine will give Tindall a chance to shine, and a strong workout could improve his draft stock. If Tindall isn't a first-round pick, the Ravens have enough picks at their disposal to address other needs first, while targeting Tindall if he's available on Day 2.

Quay Walker, Georgia
One of the draft's biggest inside linebackers, Walker is a forceful run defender with the strength to power through blocks to make plays. Listed at 240 pounds, Walker has the quickness and agility of a smaller player, and a strong showing at the Combine could erase any doubt about his ability to cover NFL tight ends. Georgia had an outstanding defense with plenty of playmakers, but Walker consistently stood out and showed relentless stamina. He could find a role quickly as part of the linebacker rotation in Baltimore.
