Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants, October 16, 2022

On October 16, the Ravens make their second visit of the season to MetLife Stadium, this time, for a matchup against the New York Giants. It marks Baltimore's first NFC opponent of the season. Entering the season, Baltimore's 36 victories in interconference play since 2008 tie for the NFL's second most. Additionally, Harbaugh's 10 victories against the NFC East are the most he owns against a single division in the "other" conference.

History: Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Giants

The Ravens and Giants squared off in Super Bowl XXXV on January 28, 2001. Baltimore dominated the Giants, 34-7, in the contest, securing the franchise's first-ever Super Bowl title. Ray Lewis earned Super Bowl XXXV MVP honors, and the Ravens tied a then-Super Bowl record with four interceptions. Additionally, in dramatic fashion, the game included three consecutive seesaw plays, beginning with a pick-six by Ravens CB Duane Starks, followed by a Giants WR Ron Dixon kickoff return touchdown, followed by a Ravens WR/RS Jermaine Lewis kickoff return touchdown. It still stands as the only playoff game in NFL history with multiple kickoff return touchdowns.
