Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens, January 6, 2024
- Owning the NFL's best record at 13-3, the 2023 AFC North Champion Baltimore Ravens host the 9-7 Pittsburgh Steelers, who remain in playoff contention, this Saturday (4:30 p.m. ET) to close out regular season play.
- The Ravens have clinched the AFC's No. 1 playoff seed for the second time (2019) in franchise history. This also marks Baltimore's first AFC North title since 2019 and the fifth (2011-12, 2018-19, 2023) division crown under head coach John Harbaugh.
- With the No. 1 seed, the Ravens have earned their 11th playoff berth during Coach Harbaugh's 16 years at the helm. Only the Patriots (12) have more postseason berths than the Ravens since his 2008 arrival. (Green Bay & Kansas City also own 11 playoff berths during this time span.)
- The Steelers lead the all-time Baltimore-Pittsburgh regular season series, 31-24, also going 3-1 in the playoffs. Under Coach Harbaugh, Baltimore is 15-19 (including playoffs). In Week 5 this season, Baltimore fell, 17-10, at Pittsburgh. Since that game, the Ravens have produced a 10-1 record.
- In a dominant 56-19 win over Miami last Sunday, the Ravens' offense registered 331 passing yards and 160 rushing yards, while recording 8 total TDs (6 passing & 2 rushing). Led by NFL MVP frontrunner QB Lamar Jackson, who completed 18-of-21 passes for 321 yards and 5 TDs (perfect 158.3 rating), Baltimore's 56 points marked the second most in franchise history and the most ever at home. The Ravens' defense was also stout, posting 2 INTs (ILB Roquan Smith & S Geno Stone) and 3 sacks (DT Justin Madubuike, OLB Odafe Oweh & OLB Kyle Van Noy) against Miami's No. 1 scoring attack.
