The Ravens are headed across the pond next season to make their first appearance in the London Games.

The NFL announced Tuesday morning that the Ravens will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars next season at Wembley Stadium, and here are five things to know about the iconic London stadium.

This Is The Second Stadium at Wembley

Wembley has been the site of several major London sporting events, including England's victory in the 1966 World Cup, the 1948 Summer Olympics and multiple Rugby League World Cup Finals. The original Wembley Stadium was torn down in 2002 and a new structure was built in its place. The current Wembley Stadium opened in 2007 and has been the primary home to NFL games played in London.

Capacity Is 90,000 Fans

The stadium has a huge capacity compared to most NFL stadiums, as it holds more than 90,000 fans. It is the second-largest stadium in Europe. By comparison, capacity at M&T Bank Stadium is 71,008 fans.

Wembley Has More Toilets Than Any Other Venue

If you're making the trip, don't worry about spending too much time waiting in line to use the bathroom. Wembley Stadium has 2,618 toilets, more than any other venue in the world, according to the BBC.

Stadium Arch Is Longest Single Span Roof Structure in the World

The most highly visible feature of the stadium is an 133-meter tall arch that sits above the north stands. In addition to its height, the arch is also 315 meters long, making it the longest single span roof structure in the world.

Several Teams Call Wembley Home

In addition to hosting the NFL's London Games, Wembley Stadium plays host to multiple other events including the Football League Cup Final, the FA Community Shield and the Rugby Football League Challenge Cup Final. The stadium is also the temporary home of Premier League soccer team, Tottenham Hotspur.
