The Ravens filled out most of their initial practice squad Wednesday afternoon after making cuts to 53 a day earlier.
None of the Ravens' players cut Tuesday were claimed by other teams off waivers. The Ravens were not awarded any players cut from other teams.
Once that was done, the Ravens went about signing players. Here's who made the initial practice squad, which still has one open space:

WR Anthony Miller
Miller signed with the Ravens on Aug. 11 in the middle of training camp, then made a good impression in practice and the preseason. The former second-round pick of the Chicago Bears (2018) caught four passes for 25 yards on 30 offensive snaps this preseason. He provides experienced depth to the wide receiver corps along with the bigger-bodied Kirkwood, who is entering his seventh season.
OLB Joe Evans
The undrafted rookie from Iowa had a strong preseason finale with two quarterback hits. He became a favorite of veterans for his hard play. While Evans doesn't have prototypical size, he showed at Ravens training camp why he was able to pile up 28 career collegiate sacks.
TE Qadir Ismail
Ismail went from a college quarterback to college wide receiver to NFL tight end and still stood out at Ravens practice. The son of former Ravens wide receiver Qadry Ismail made plays nearly every practice and impressed coaches with his blocking toughness. Now he can continue to fill out his 6-foot-6 frame and develop his skills at his new position.
WR Dayton Wade
The Ole Miss undrafted rookie flashed during training camp practices and led the Ravens in receiving in two of the three preseason games. He had a sweet double move to get open for a 56-yard touchdown in the second preseason game.
QB Devin Leary
The sixth-round pick struggled in the preseason finale with two interceptions and one lost fumble, but he'll have a chance to sharpen his decision-making on the practice squad. Leary has a great arm but just needs more experience and seasoning.
WR Malik Cunningham
The converted college quarterback impressed with his feel of the game as a receiver, but he was overshadowed by other wideouts during training camp. Now he can continue to develop at his new position.
RB John Kelly
The sixth-year pro performed well in the preseason after signing with the Ravens midway through training camp. Kelly could be called into action for Week 1 in Kansas City if rookie No. 3 running back Rasheen Ali isn't ready.
OT Corey Bullock
The Ravens kept 10 offensive linemen on their 53-man roster and two on their practice squad with Bullock and Dalcourt. Tashawn Manning was not re-signed to the practice squad. Bullock was the highest-graded offensive lineman via Pro Football Focus this preseason.
