Several Ravens players will visit Federal Hill Preparatory School on Tuesday (12/3) to speak with students about the importance of good health. During the visit, they will lead the children in fitness activities as part of the NFL's PLAY 60 campaign, helping youth receive at least 60 minutes of exercise per day. On behalf of the NFL, Ravens players will present the school with a $10,000 NFL PLAY 60 grant for health and wellness programming and/or equipment.
- Ravens players will help the students get 60 minutes of exercise during an NFL PLAY 60 Ultimate Fitness class. Representatives of NFL Network affiliates, including Bright House, Comcast, COX, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOs, will attend and help emphasize the importance of staying active.
- The NFL PLAY 60 Super School program inspires students to make healthy choices. Schools entered the NFL PLAY 60 Super School Contest by sharing their commitment to youth health and wellness and eating right at www.NFLRUSH.com. A school in each of the NFL's 32 team communities plus two at-large schools were selected as winners.
