This season, each of the Ravens' preseason contests will air on local TV, with all four games appearing live on preseason broadcast partner WBAL-TV.
In addition, three games will simulcast on MASN, while ESPN will broadcast nationally for its Monday Night Football programming on Aug. 24 when the Ravens host the New York Jets at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Ravens' first preseason game is set for this Thursday, Aug. 13, against the Washington Redskins (7:30 p.m.). The contest will appear on WBAL-TV and MASN.
The second preseason game against the Jets (8 p.m.) will air nationally on ESPN and be carried locally on WBAL-TV.
"ESPN recognized our partnership with WBAL, and we were able to negotiate a deal that allows for the Monday Night Football game to be delivered to our local home market," Ravens vice president of corporate sales and development Mark Burdett stated.
"Additionally, WJZ-TV, which carries a majority of our games during the regular season and has local rights for the ESPN games, was willing to cooperate. We give a lot of credit to WJZ and ESPN for working with us to ensure that our game will be aired on our preseason partner station. That makes it much easier for our fans to find each of our telecasts."
The final two preseason contests, Aug. 29 at the Carolina Panthers (8 p.m.) and Sept. 3 at the Atlanta Falcons (7:30 p.m.), will again appear on both WBAL-TV and MASN.
For each game, WBAL's Gerry Sandusky will handle play-by-play duties, while former NFL players Stan White and Rob Burnett will serve as in-game color analysts. The local broadcasts on WBAL-TV will also include both a pre- and post-game show, which air 30 minutes before and after each contest, respectively. WBAL's Pete Gilbert and former Ravens wide receiver Qadry Ismail will host these shows.
All preseason games can also be heard on WBAL 1090 AM, WIYY 98 Rock and other Ravens radio network affiliates.
