The Ravens' secondary got a boost Thursday with the return of Arthur Maulet to practice as a limited participant.
Maulet has been sidelined since Oct. 2, when he tweaked his hamstring in his first practice back from a knee injury that put him on injured reserve to start the season.
It has now been more than two weeks with him back on the sideline, and Maulet will work to get up to speed with the hope of being available for Monday night's game in Tampa Bay.
The Ravens have until next Wednesday to activate him to the 53-man roster.
Once Maulet is ready for game action, that could reshuffle some of the secondary snaps, as safety Kyle Hamilton and cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who have been primarily handling slot duties, could play elsewhere when Maulet is inserted.
Ravens defensive lineman Broderick Washington also was limited Thursday after being sidelined all last week by a knee injury. Washington is a key part of Baltimore's defensive line rotation.
The only Ravens who didn't practice were return specialist Deonte Harty (knee), linebacker Malik Harrison (groin), and defensive end Brent Urban (illness).
Star Bucs Wide Receiver Dealing With Leg Injury
Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) did not practice Thursday but is expected to return to the field later this week, per Head Coach Todd Bowles.
Evans left the Buccaneers' blowout win last Sunday early and did not return. He is second on the team behind Chris Godwin with 25 catches for 310 yards. Evans and Godwin both have five touchdown catches.
Starting cornerback Jamel Dean (hamstring), who didn't finish last week's game, did not practice Thursday.
