Looking for another dynamic playmaker and punt returner, the Ravens drafted Colorado wide receiver LaJohntay Wester in the sixth round with pick No. 203.

Wester stands in at 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, which is roughly the same size as current Ravens Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers. Like Flowers, Wester plays with a big heart and toughness.

He's a dynamic playmaker who could have an immediate role as the team's punt returner, a job that had a rotating cast in 2024. Wester had a pair of punt returns for touchdowns during his college career and averaged 11.2 yards per return.

His stop-start ability, dynamic acceleration, and speed make him an ideal punt returner. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds at the Combine.

Wester was also a highly productive as an offensive player. He finished his five-year career with the sixth-most receptions (326) in FBS history.

Wester spent his first four seasons at Florida Atlantic and caught 108 passes for 1,168 yards and eight touchdowns in 2023. Last season at Colorado, he hauled in 74 receptions for 931 yards and 10 touchdowns. Coaches tried to get the ball in his hands quickly and let him do damage with his quickness and ability to make defenders miss. He played almost exclusively out of the slot and could be a good backup to Flowers.
