Nate Wiggins Misses Ravens Practice With Neck Injury

Ravens rookie first-round cornerback Nate Wiggins did not practice Thursday because of a neck injury, as Baltimore gets set for its home-opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Wiggins missed Monday's bonus practice too but was on the field Wednesday and not on the injury report, meaning he was a full participant.

Wiggins played 17 defensive snaps in his debut in Kansas City. According to Pro Football Focus, he surrendered one catch for one yard.

Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr said Thursday that Wiggins and second-year linebacker Trenton Simpson will continue to get more reps with more experience under their belts.

"Nate's going to be fine. Nate's going to play a lot of football for us. He's going to play a lot of great football for us," Orr said. "I think [he's going to] just continue to come in and continue to work, and he played well in the [Kansas City] game as well. The better he plays, the more he's going to be out there."
