Throughout his years, Jack has been a leader, father figure, and friend to countless players and coaches.

Brother Jim recently signed on as the head coach of the NFL's Los Angeles Chargers after nine years serving as head coach of the University of Michigan and winning the CFP National Championship in 2023, along with three consecutive Big Ten Championships (2021-23). He was the NFL Baltimore Ravens' starting QB in 1998, played 14 seasons in the NFL, and was the San Francisco 49ers' head coach from 2011–14 (winning Coach of the Year in his first season).

"I'm proud to work alongside my family on the Harbaugh Coaching Academy," said Jim Harbaugh. "I'm delighted we can share what we've learned with other coaches, of all levels, to help them develop and mentor young athletes."

Brother-in-law Tom Crean coached the men's basketball teams at the University of Georgia, Indiana University and Marquette University (where his team reached the 2003 NCAA Final Four). He currently serves as a national college basketball analyst for ESPN.
