BALTIMORE, MD (February 22, 2010)—Matt Birk's HIKE Foundation announces the launch of its new website. After the completion of Matt's first season with the Ravens, and HIKE's first season in Baltimore, the website needed a change to parallel the one made with the move. The new website offers several interactive features and allows visitors to make a donation to the charity.
The new site includes information regarding HIKE Foundation programs such as "Ready, Set, Read!" which motivates and encourages elementary school students to read at home. Also featured are details of news & events for the foundation such as the upcoming All-Stars for Education Dinner & Auction on Thursday, March 11, from 6-10pm at Annie's Paramount Steak and Seafood House in Kent Narrows, MD. Information on how to get involved with the HIKE Foundation is available via the website and offers many different options on how to participate and make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth in the Baltimore area.
