FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Orioles will kick off the start of the NFL season by hosting a Ravens Rally at Oriole Park on Saturday, September 6, prior to their 7:05 p.m. game against the Oakland Athletics. The Ravens begin their 2008 campaign against the Cincinnati Bengals the next day at neighboring M&T Bank Stadium.

The first 15,000 fans ages 15 and over will receive a limited edition Ravens Rally t-shirt presented by MASN. The shirt features the Oriole Bird carrying a football and wearing a Ravens jersey. Festivities planned for the evening include appearances by mascot Poe and several Ravens cheerleaders. Members of the Marching Ravens will also perform on the lower concourse prior to the game.

Baltimore Ravens President DICK CASSwill represent the team by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. "On the eve of our season kick-off, this night will give fans the opportunity to celebrate our two great local sports franchises," said Cass.

Ravens PSL holders can show their cards at the Oriole Park box office to receive $7 off any regularly priced ticket (up to 8 tickets per card). Non-PSL holders who show pride in their favorite teams will receive $5 off any regularly priced ticket by wearing both Ravens and Orioles articles of clothing.

"This rally provides an opportunity for Baltimore sports fans to gather together to root for their favorite baseball team and wish their favorite football team good luck as they gear up for the 2008 season," said Orioles Director of Communications GREG BADER.

The 7:05 p.m. game is the second game of a split doubleheader scheduled for September 6. The Orioles will also play the A's at 1:05 p.m. that day. Fans should call 1-888-848-BIRD or visit www.orioles.com for tickets to the September 6 game.
