The Baltimore Ravens and rookie TEĀ [Ed Dickson have agreed in principle to a three-year contract, general manager/executive vice president Ozzie Newsome announced Friday morning.
The 6-4, 250-pound Dickson was selected in the third round (70th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.
A consensus first-team All-Pac-10 honoree his senior season, Dickson was a John Mackey Award semifinalist in 2009 after finishing his career with 124 catches for 1,557 yards (12.6 avg.) and 12 touchdowns. His receptions and receiving yard totals both rank first among tight ends in Oregon history.
