The Baltimore Ravens announced the dates for two of their most anticipated uniform combinations on Thursday, as part of their 2024 promotions and events schedule.
The Ravens will wear their all-black uniforms on Sunday, Sept. 29, when Darkness Falls once again at M&T Bank Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear black to the Sunday Night Football matchup against the Buffalo Bills, and all guests will receive a light-up wristband upon stadium entry to take part in the night's entertainment.
The team will also debut its new Purple Rising alternate helmets on Thursday, Nov. 7, when Baltimore hosts the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. The game marks the first time in Ravens history that the team will wear a helmet other than the primary black model. The helmet will pair with the Ravens' alternate purple jersey and pants combination, last worn in 2022, and fans will be encouraged to wear purple to the primetime divisional showdown.
"The reaction to our Purple Rising helmet launch from both players and fans was extremely positive," Ravens senior vice president of marketing Brad Downs stated. "We can't wait to debut it in front of a national audience and huge Baltimore crowd this November."
Additionally, in conjunction with the NFL, the Ravens will recognize multiple causes and initiatives throughout the regular season, including Crucial Catch (9/29), Latino Heritage (10/13) and Salute to Service (11/7).
