Press Release: Ravens-Bengals 'Thursday Night Football' Game Information

Below is a list of information for Thursday night's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals, presented by Leidos, at M&T Bank Stadium (8:15 p.m. kickoff, Prime Video / WMAR-TV local). The night marks Baltimore's 2024 Salute to Service game, which supports the NFL initiative designed to honor service members in all branches of the military.

PURPLE RISING

The Ravens will debut new Purple Rising alternate helmets to pair with their all-purple "Color Rush" uniforms. The game marks the first time in Ravens history that the team will wear a helmet other than the primary black model. Fans are encouraged to wear purple to the primetime divisional showdown.

LED WRISTBAND GATE GIVEAWAY

All fans will receive an LED wristband that syncs to stadium music throughout the night, beginning with pre-game ceremonies approximately 20 minutes before kickoff.  (Fans are encouraged to arrive at their seats no later than 7:55 p.m.) All wristbands are recyclable, as they will not operate outside of M&T Bank Stadium. Therefore, at the conclusion of the game, specially designated recycling bins will be located at all exits for proper disposal.

BALTIMORE'S MARCHING RAVENS

Beginning at 7:55 p.m., Baltimore's Marching Ravens will perform anthems from U.S. military branches to kick off the night's pre-game festivities. The band members will don light-up equipment for their performance.

PLAYER INTRODUCTIONS

Baltimore's starting defense will be introduced, with members of the Maryland Air and Army National Guards running out of the tunnel alongside each player. Fans are encouraged to arrive at their seats no later than 7:55 p.m., when the Ravens will incorporate fans' LED bracelets and an enhanced LED stadium lights system into player introductions, creating a unique sequence of effects. Fireworks will also be shot off from the stadium's upper bowl ring just before kickoff.

LEGEND OF THE GAME

Former defensive tackle Brandon Williams, who retired as a Raven on Tuesday, is the Legend of the Game. A 2013 Baltimore draft pick, Williams was a stalwart who thrived in the trenches for nine seasons (2013-21). A 2018 Pro Bowler, he finished his Ravens career with 323 tackles, 6.5 sacks, five fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.

HONORARY CAPTAINS

Brigadier General Allyson Solomon and Chief Warrant Officer Five Phyllis Wilson are Thursday's Honorary Captains. Solomon enlisted in the Maryland Air National Guard in 1979 and became the first woman and first African-American appointed as a senior commander. In 2003, she became the first woman promoted to the rank of colonel in Maryland Air National Guard history. At the time of her 2015 retirement, Solomon was the Assistant Adjutant General for Air, commanding the entire Maryland Air National Guard, an organization of approximately 1,600 personnel.

Wilson spent 37 years in the Army as a military intelligence voice intercept operator. She served as the most senior warrant officer in the entire U.S. Army Reserve and is now president of the Military Women's Memorial, America's only major national memorial to honor the service of all women who have defended the nation, beginning with the American Revolution.

NATIONAL ANTHEM

The US Army Herald Trumpets will perform the anthem, while a large field flag is held by military veterans on the field.

HALFTIME PERFORMANCE

Platinum-certified country music star Chase Rice will perform from the Bud Light Touchdown Club during halftime. With more than 2.6 million albums sold and over 2.8 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond.

SPECIAL SALUTE TO SERVICE RECOGNITIONS

At the end of the first quarter, the Ravens will conduct a Salute to Service moment throughout the stadium. There will also be Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and Pat Tillman Scholarship presentations/recognitions during quarter breaks. Additionally, Thursday's Seats for Service recipients are members of the Joint Task Force K9s, which is a faith-based nonprofit enriching the lives of active-duty military, combat veterans and law enforcement with disabilities through K9 therapy classes and the placement of specially trained service dogs.

MOBILE MUSEUM – PLAY LIKE A RAVEN: A CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE

The Ravens will continue the Play Like A Raven: A Culture of Excellence exhibit in their Mobile Museum, which highlights key career accomplishments by Baltimore MVP award recipients Lamar Jackson and Johnny Unitas. The Mobile Museum is a rotating compact museum that introduces the Ravens Historical Collection through different displays and engages fans through their shared love of the Ravens and the game of football. Fans can view the Play Like a Raven display on the stadium's main concourse near section 148.
