PLAY 60 Challenge Kickoff Assembly

This Monday (10/12) at 10 a.m., the Baltimore Ravens and Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association will continue their promotion of the in-school PLAY 60 Challenge as part of the national NFL PLAY 60 campaign aimed at getting children active for at least 60 minutes a day. Ravens RB Javorius Allen,TE Nick Boyle,WR Darren Wallerand TE Max Williams, along with Ravens cheerleaders and mascot Poe, will host an assembly for students at General John Stricker Middle School (Dundalk, Md.) to discuss the importance of physical activity in their everyday lives. Last Monday (10/5), The Ravens hosted PLAY 60* and *Project ACES kickoff assemblies at Runnymede Elementary School and Lyons Mill Elementary School.

Ravens Host TEAM Challenge at M&T Bank Stadium

This Monday (10/12) at 11:30 a.m., the Baltimore Ravens will host its fourth annual Ravens TEAM Challenge at M&T Bank Stadium as part of the 2015 NFL/United Way Hometown Huddle. Approximately 110 local youth will test their physical endurance and ability to work as a team in order to complete various activities. At the end of the event, one group will be declared TEAM Challenge champions, based upon total points accumulated.

Under the guidance of Playworks Baltimore, select students from Francis Scott Key Elementary School (Baltimore, Md.) will participate in activities such as kickball, dodgeball, ultimate football and a series of relays. In addition, each student will receive a new pair of sneakers, provided by Under Armour.

Ravens players, including WR Kamar Aiken, WR Marlon Brown,OLB Elvis Dumervil,CB Charles James II,S Anthony Levine Sr.,S Kendrick Lewis,LB Albert McClellan,G/T Kelechi Osemeleand OLB Za'Darius Smith will join Ravens cheerleaders, mascot Poe and close to 50 volunteers (from the Lady Ravens Association, M&T Bank, Under Armour and United Way) in facilitating the activities and leading youth participants.

Ravens Host Goodwill Gridiron Halloween Party

Ravens TE Dennis Pitta,K Justin Tucker andDT Brandon Williams will serve as hosts for the 16th annual Goodwill Gridiron Halloween Party on Monday (10/12) at Dave & Buster's (Arundel Mills Mall). They will be joined by Ravens teammates, staff and more than 600 guests at the festive party.

The event features a night of bowling, billiards, video games and light fare, in addition to a silent auction. Guests with unique costumes may take part in a costume contest, judged by Ravens players in attendance.

The event benefits Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc., with all proceeds donated toward training and employment programs to help the disabled and underprivileged secure and retain jobs. Last year, Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake provided services for over 39,563 individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment, placing 2,532 people into jobs.
