Ahead of Thursday night's season opener, the Ravens made a flurry of roster moves.
Rookie fifth-round running back Rasheen Ali was placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four games. In a corresponding move, inside linebacker Josh Ross, who was on the practice squad, was signed to the active roster.
The Ravens also elevated cornerback Ka'dar Hollman and running back John Kelly from the practice squad for the game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
With Ali out, Kelly will serve as Baltimore's No. 3 running back behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill. Ali and running back Keaton Mitchell, who started the season on the PUP list, will both be eligible to return in Week 5 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Ravens also released rookie wide receiver Isaiah Washington with an injury settlement. He was previously on injured reserve.
