The Ravens acted quickly to fill their need at cornerback after Will Davis' season-ending knee injury.
Baltimore has signed veteran cornerback Shareece Wright.
Wright started 14 games last season (every game he played) with the Chargers. He logged 60 tackles and nine passes defensed. The fifth-year corner has one career interception.
Wright stands in at 5-foot-11, 182 pounds and is a former third-round pick. He will immediately compete with Kyle Arrington, Tray Walker and Rashaan Melvin for the third cornerback spot.
He was with the San Francisco 49ers this season after signing a one-year deal, but was not activated for any of the team's first five games and requested a change of scenery. Now Wright will travel back to San Francisco for his first game as a Raven.
