Drew Willy signed with the Ravens as a rookie free agent on 5/8/09…A 4-year starter, he finished his career at Buffalo as the school's all-time leader in completions (849), attempts (1,322), passing yards (8,748), TDs (52), total offense (8,639 yards) and completion percentage (64.2)…Willy also rushed for 193 yards and 7 TDs as a Bull…He started in 42 of 49 games in his college career – including the final 26 – and in his final 20 games he threw 36 TDs and just 6 INTs…Led the Bulls to their 1st-ever appearance in a bowl game, as Buffalo faced Connecticut in the International Bowl on 1/5/09...Started all 14 games as a senior, completing a single-season school record 304 passes (of 468 attempts) – which broke his own record of 258 in 2007 – for 3,304 yards, 25 TDs and 6 INTs…Started all 12 games and had a record-setting season for the Bulls as a junior in 2007…Set a single-season school record for pass efficiency rating (135.7) and completion percentage (68.4%)…Finished the season 258-for-377 for 2,572 yards, 15 TDs and 6 INTs…Did not throw an INT over the final 7 games of the season – a span of 235 straight passes…Set the school record for completions in a game (34) at Kent State (11/24/07)…Started the 1st 8 games of his sophomore year before a thumb injury ended his season...Completed 138 of 231 passes (59.7 percent) for 1,391 yards and 6 TDs...Was the last Division I-A starting QB in the nation to throw an INT, not tossing a pick until 10/7 against Ball State – a span of 131 attempts…Appeared in 10 games and started the final 8 of his freshman season in 2005...Completed a school-record 60.6% of his passes (149 for 246), including a 9.9 yards per completion mark (also a school record)...Threw for 1,481 yards and 6 TDs...In his 1st-career start at Western Michigan (10/1/05) he went 30-for-38, gaining 288 yards and 2 TDs...The 30 completions tied him for 2nd all-time in school history for completions in a game...Majored in communications at Buffalo…Prepped at Randolph (NJ) HS, where he was a 3rd-team All-State selection, while setting school records for career passing yardage (5,387) and TDs (51)...As a senior, he completed 62% of his passes for 2,459 yards and 20 TDs...Led Randolph to a 15-6 record and the Iron Hills Conference title over his final 2 seasons...Earned 1st-team All-County and All-Area honors as a senior and was also a 1st-team All-Area guard on the basketball team.
