The Ravens added depth to their wide receiver room by signing veteran Russell Gage, who was on the field for Tuesday's practice.
The 28-year-old Gage has 244 receptions for 2,491 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 10.1 yards per catch during his five NFL seasons. He spent the 2023 season on injured reserve with the Tampa Buccaneers after suffering a torn patellar tendon in training camp.
Gage's last active season was in 2022 with the Buccaneers when he caught 51 passes for 426 yards and five touchdowns. He spent his first four NFL seasons with the Atlanta Falcons after being selected in the sixth round of the 2018 draft.
Gage will compete for a role in the wide receiver rotation headed by Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, and Tylan Wallace who all returned from last year.
Baltimore drafted fourth-round wide receiver Devontez Walker and signed veteran wide receiver/returner Deonte Harty. Malik Cunningham, Dayton Wade, Sean Ryan, Isaiah Washington, and Keith Kirkwood round out the wide receiver room.
Bateman made a spectacular catch in Monday's practice but came up slowly after the play. He is not on the field for Tuesday's practice.
