The Ravens will have their defensive line at full strength against the Steelers' powerful run game and a new contributor in the secondary.
Defensive tackle Travis Jones is active for Sunday's game at Acrisure Stadium after being limited in practice this week due to an ongoing ankle injury.
Jones played a career-high 56 defensive snaps last week against the Cincinnati Bengals and was a big reason why the Ravens got 13 hits on Joe Burrow. Jones will be a major part of Baltimore's run defense, which will see plenty of action in Pittsburgh.
Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (back) is active after missing some practice time this week. He and lead running back Najee Harris carry a rushing attack that's ranked 8th in the NFL in yards per game (138.3) and fourth in attempts (309).
New cornerback Tre'Davious White will play his first game for the Ravens after being acquired at the trade deadline. White impressed coaches this week with how quickly he picked up Baltimore's defense.
It remains to be seen how many snaps he'll get in the cornerback rotation with Marlon Humphrey, Brandon Stephens, Nate Wiggins, and Jalyn Armour-Davis also active.
Baltimore's 32nd-ranked secondary is looking for a bounce back game against Russell Wilson, wide receiver George Pickens, and a Steelers offense averaging more than 30 points per game the past three weeks.
The Ravens' inactives are as follows:
- CB Arthur Maulet
- RB Rasheen Ali
- FS Eddie Jackson
- C Nick Samac
- WR Devontez Walker
- OLB David Ojabo
Maulet suffered a calf injury this week, which unfortunately will sideline him against his former team. Jackson (non-injury related) was ruled out Saturday afternoon when he didn't make the trip to Pittsburgh.
That means the Ravens' safeties will be Kyle Hamilton, who got through an ankle injury this week to play, Marcus Williams, Ar'Darius Washington, and rookies Beau Brade and Sanoussi Kane.
Rookie outside linebacker Adisa Isaac is active over Ojabo, who is a healthy scratch for the third time in four weeks.
The Steelers are a little thin at cornerback without backups Cory Trice Jr. (hamstring/injured reserve) and C.J. Henderson (neck). Backup tight end MyCole Pruitt is inactive.
Pittsburgh is without one of its top pass rushers in Alex Highsmith, but Nick Herbig, who has 2.5 sacks in five games, is back from a hamstring injury and will play.
